Digital Circles Escape Room
Math 3 Students have been working the last few days on the Digital Circles Escape Room! Students were required to complete 6 different challenges involving circles. This was offered completely in an online format so all students could participate. Kudos to CTLA Math teachers for their creativity of challenging and engaging activities!

A Solid Start for 2020-21
Many of our students returned to campus on August 10th to begin their college classes at Johnston Community College. All high school classes are currently being taught online. Teachers and staff at CTLA planned and prepared for our first day with bus riders and car riders arriving on campus. Armed with digital no-contact thermometers and wearing face masks, teachers greeted students and directed them to their class locations. Although the year started in a very different way, great teamwork and positive attitudes prevail and we are moving along with our new normal.

RAK CLUB February Project
Dear CTLA Families, We will be collecting items for hygiene bags through February 21st. Thank you to those of you who have already brought in some things! If you'd like to contribute, please bring your items to the CTLA office. The RAK Club will meet and pack the hygiene bags on February 28 at 1:00 pm in Mobile 3A. Thank you. Food Pantry at SSS
The Food Pantry at SSS will be open Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 5. Please spread the word. We have staples and fresh veggies and fruit. Some frozen meats. Come out and drive in the school entrance where the tennis courts and soccer fields are. Drive around the back circle and students will deliver to their car.

High School State Assessments Update
On December 8th 2020, the Johnston County School Board of Education voted to return to Plan C (Remote Learning), we would like to provide an update to parents and guardians of options to complete state-mandated End-of-Course (EOC) and Career/Technical Education Post Assessment testing.
