CHES Students of the Month
Each month, the CHES Students of the Month are displayed on the wall outside of the gym. Each class has a student of the month that has shown a specific character trait while at school.

Virtual Students of the Month
Student of the Month signs were delivered to CHES virtual students by Mr. McLamb and Ms. Butler on Friday, November 13th.

Red Ribbon Week
CHES students and staff participated in Red Ribbon Week on October 26th-30th to promote being drug free. On Friday of Red Ribbon Week everyone, including CHES Enrichment teachers, dressed up as their favorite book character.

Back to School
CHES teachers distributed materials and devices to students for the 2020-2021 school year on August 17th and 18th.

JCPS transitions to Plan B for all students
The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.

2nd Quarter Report Cards
Report Cards for the 2nd quarter of school will be available to view online through the Parent Portal on Monday, January 11th.
