Mr. Eddie A. Castro

 Hi Cooper Families!

I have been teaching since 2002. My teaching career has spanned several states including Maryland, Tennessee, and North Carolina. I earned a Masters degree from Lee University focused on teaching Exceptional Children.  I am very passionate about guiding our children from feeling helpless and misunderstood towards feeling hopeful and excited about the their potential as well as future opportunities.

My background is a culturally diverse with a Dominican/Puerto Rican heritage. Growing up in a Military family afforded me the opportunity to live and visit in many Amazing places.  I have lived in California, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, Okinawa(Japan), Georgia, Maryland, Tennessee and Puerto Rico! I have had the privilege of visiting Panama, Venezuela, South Korea, Bahamas, Mexico, Massachusets, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Washington State, Washington D.C.., West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Las Vegas(Nevada)! Suffice it to say, Traveling is what I love doing!  My Familly includes my sweet wife Samantha who has a degree from Lee University in Marriage and Family therapy.
