Ms. C. Denise Edmondson
Hello Families!
My name is Ms. C. Denise Edmondson and I am so excited to be on the second grade team again at Cooper Academy! Go Rockets! I love teaching! I am thrilled to be your teacher, and I am looking forward to a year of learning, fun, and memorable moments, and adventures. I can't wait to learn all about you, but first I'll tell you a little about me.
I was reared in Wilson County just outside the Johnston County line. I have one son. I have four brothers. I am the only girl! I attended James B. Hunt High, Wilson NC. The University of Mount Olive is where I attended college and obtained my degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been in the Johnston County School System for twenty years.
There is so much that I am looking forward to this year! Here are a few things that second grade has to offer. In math this year, your second graders will continue to explore the logic of numbers. He/she will also start to learn that all the number facts are related in a systematic way. In reading, students are challenged to become more fluent readers. We will be learning about life cycles in science, and how to be a part of a community in social studies. Get ready! Get Ready!
Sincerely.
Ms. Edmondson
My favorites:
favorite color: purple
favorite dinner: meatloaf with cabbage, and cornbread with candied yams
favorite season: winter
favorite animal: elephant
favorite resturant: Olive Garden
hobbies: spending time with my family, and solving mysteries ,andwatching the tide roll in and out!
