Miss Deanna Staten
Hello, my name is Deanna Staten and this is my fourth year as a third grade teacher at Cooper. This is my third year teaching at Cooper, and I am very excited to meet every single one of you and your children. I graduated from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro with a degree in English. I have many years of volunteer experience with Johnston County Schools. Some fun facts about me: I am the oldest of three, I love dogs (like seriously love them), and I love to sing. I plan to work diligently with your child to ensure that they learn something new everyday, whether big or small. We will accomplish this goal by using a growth mindset, and by being innovative learners. I can't wait to start this school year, with bright new faces!
